Douglas MacRae is a Toronto-based artist, photographer and world traveller. He graduated from the Ontario College of Art & Design. His super-realism paintings evolved into award-winning national advertising campaigns. He has won awards from Marketing Magazine, CAPIC, Lux and other associations. Douglas' lifelong wanderlust and adventurous spirit, inspired him to capture evocative images of cultures and landscapes across the globe. He expanded his career in international travel photography and received commissioned campaigns from tourism boards, airlines and travel companies. In 2019, Douglas was diagnosed with glioblastoma and was given a 14 month survival prognosis. He has now survived 3.5 years and is an Ambassador for the Brain Cancer Canada charity. www.douglasmacrae.com
